How to Get to Shizuoka Prefecture

Located in the Chubu region, Shizuoka Prefecture will host the Rugby World Cup in 2019. Shizuoka City, the capital of Shizuoka Prefecture, is located about halfway between Tokyo and Nagoya. The Shinkansen ride to get there is an easy one, taking about an hour from Tokyo, or two hours from Osaka.
