Sapporo is a city in Northern Japan which will host the Rugby World Cup in 2019. The easiest way to get to Sapporo is to take a flight from Tokyo, as Tokyo-Sapporo is one of the busiest routes in Japan, with many airline options including LCCs. Many flights use Haneda Airport in Tokyo and New Chitose Airport in Sapporo. Quite a few flights are also available from Narita Airport for only about one and a half hours; there and there are also direct flights from Osaka for about two hours.

To get to Sapporo (New Chitose Airport), there are also other options from Fukuoka Airport (Fukuoka Prefecture), Chubu Internaitonal Airport (Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture) and Sendai Airport (Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture) . To travel between hosting cities, you can either take a direct flight from the nearest airport, or via a big hub city such as Tokyo or Osaka.
