      Odori Park is located centrally in Hokkaido and offers views of beautiful flower beds, manicured lawns, and trees and shrubbery, as well as events like the Lilac Festival, Yosakoi Soran Festival, and Snow Festival, which see attendance from numerous tourists and locals alike.

      Sightseeing in Susuki

      This is a large entertainment district located centrally in Chuo-ku, Sapporo that is considered to be the largest of its kind in the Tohoku region.
      There are numerous places to visit here, with shops and commercial facilities alongside entertainment areas and hotels.
      Estimates state that the area sees about 80,000 visitors each night. It is a city that never sleeps, but is also exceedingly safe. If you wanted to go out for a night with the girls, you need not worry.

      Susuki always has something new and different to offer the curious traveler. One event of interest is the Susuki Festival, held every summer, and the detailed array of ice sculptures that go up at “Ice World” during the Snow Festival.

      Susuki is truly about much more than just going to eat or drink and has lots going on.

      Clocktower

      "The clocktower has stood in this spot for 130 years, and has watched over Sapporo and its people as the city has grown and evolved.
      The clocktower’s formal name is the “Former Sapporo Agricultural College Dojo.”
      Sapporo Agricultural College was the predecessor to Hokkaido University and was in operation until 1876 as a school dedicated to training the Meiji administrative government’s civil servants.
      The dojo (clocktower) was built in 1878 at the suggestion of William Smith Clark; the site was to serve as a drill hall for military exercises and for graduation ceremonies.
