From Yodoyabashi Port you can enjoy an Osaka sightseeing cruise by water bus. The "Osaka Castle and Nakanoshima Cruise", touring around Okawa River is a 55-minute ride. Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is one of Osaka's most famous places to visit and is one of the leading castles in Japan. This castle, which has a long history of more than 400 years, suffered from war and natural disasters and has been rebuilt several times. Now the interior of the castle is a historical museum. However, the moat and the majestic stone wall that surround it are the most important sights showcasing the remains of the Edo Period. In addition, Osaka Castle Park surrounding Osaka Castle is a place for citizens to enjoy the cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn, backed by the splendid castle towers.

Umeda Sky Building

Umeda Sky building
The Umeda Sky Building is a building consisting of two towers. This unique structure is famous all over the world, with a "Floating Garden" on the top floor bridge connecting the two towers. Most of the building itself is used as an office space, but there is also a movie theatre, as well as the floating garden where you can see the city of Osaka with a 360 degree panoramatic view. The night view from the top is especially beautiful, plus the "Rumi Sky Walk" illuminates around your feet at night and it is also famous as a date spot in Osaka in the evening because of its fantastic atmosphere.

Dotonbori

Dotonbori is the most famous downtown area in Osaka. There are many unique lights which illuminate the city and the astonishing stereoscopic signboards. You can enjoy landscapes that you cannot see elsewhere in Japan. Also, there are shops that allow you to enjoy the local delicacy of Osakan a casual manner, such as Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, and Kushiage restaurants which offer the Japanese dish of deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables. It is full of local people and tourists all day long from morning till evening.

Universal Studio Japan

USJ is one of the five Universal Studios theme parks in the world, and one of the largest amusement parks in Japan. There are many attractions that mainly centre around the movies handled by Universal Studios. "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" area opened in 2014 is an attraction which allows guests to enjoy the world of the Harry Potter movies. The area has become popular with tourists both in Japan and abroad. Besides this, characters such as Woody Woodpecker, Sesame Street, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, Minions, and more are also popular, and you can enjoy seasonal events and parades as well.

Abeno Harukas

Abeno Harukas is the tallest building in Japan with a height above ground of 300 metres. In addition to having the largest department store in Japan, "Kintetsu Department Store Main Store Abeno Harukas," it is also famous for having "ABENO HARUKAS Art Museum". ABENO HARUKAS Art Museum is based on the concept of "an urban art museum" where everyone can feel and experience the art and culture easily. Various exhibitions are held regardless of the genre. On the top floor of the building there is the "HARUKAS 300 (Observatory)" and you can enjoy the view from 300 metres above the groun, as its name suggests.

Kaiyukan Aquarium

In this eight-storey building, visitors first take the escalator to the top floor and then go down a corridor-shaped passage through the aquarium. Each aquarium area is divided so that sea creatures around the world can be appreciated. The "Pacific Ocean" exibit, the largest tank in the aquarium spanning from the sixth floor to the fourth floor, has a maximum length of 34 metres, a depth of 9 metres, and contains 5,400 tons of water. In the Pacific Ocean, whale sharks, which are not often seen in aquariums, can be seen. The two popular whale sharks are named "Kai-kun" "Yu-chan" respectively, and they are a symbol of this aquarium.
